Central Ontario Chinese Cultural Centre (COCCC) is a non-profit, charitable organization founded in 1973, and incorporated in 1980. COCCC is a chapter of the Chinese Canadian National Council (CCNC).
The objectives of the COCCC are:
To promote the Chinese culture To promote goodwill and mutual understanding among different cultures To provide culture-related programs and services that meet the needs of the community The Centre is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, elected by its members. Programs, services and special events are conducted by a group of dedicated volunteers. Revenue comes mainly from fund raising activities, supplemented by donations and membership fees. The centre has a collection of Chinese CDs, books and magazines available on loan. Facilities at the Centre are for the use of members during opening hours.
